Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to optimize inventory and demand forecasting for their operations in Queenstown . This role is integral to ensuring product availability while minimizing holding costs. You will be responsible for analyzing historical data, forecasting future demand, and developing strategic plans for inventory replenishment and distribution. This position offers a hybrid work model, providing flexibility while requiring a collaborative approach with various departments to achieve supply chain excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop accurate demand forecasts for products, considering historical data, market trends, and promotional activities.
Create and manage inventory replenishment plans to ensure optimal stock levels across the supply chain.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to align supply and demand plans.
Monitor inventory performance, identify potential stockouts or overstock situations, and implement corrective actions.
Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and lead times.
Participate in sales and operations planning (S&OP) meetings to provide insights and drive consensus.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain planning.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting tools and techniques.
Excellent understanding of supply chain principles and inventory optimization methods.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally in a hybrid setting.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are required.
