Job summary

Darbi Accessories, NZ distributor within GPC Asia Pacific, is seeking a commercially minded Product Manager based in Auckland. You will own the product lifecycle from supplier sourcing and range planning through pricing, catalogue management and discontinuation, working with Sales, Marketing and Operations to maximise range, availability and margin.

The role requires experience in product or category management, strong supplier negotiations, and the ability to analyse sales, stock and financial

Qualifications

• Experience in product management, category management or similar commercially focused roles.
• Strong supplier management, sourcing and negotiation skills.
• Commercially astute with ability to analyse sales, stock and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop key brands within the product range to meet customer and market needs.
• Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, negotiations and pricing.
• Lead the product lifecycle from range planning and new product launches through to discontinuation.
• Monitor range, stock and margin performance to identify opportunities and take action.
• Use customer insights, competitor activity and market trends to inform range decisions.
• Work collaboratively across Sales, Marketing and Operations to support product availability and growth.
