Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific – Auckland, North Island is seeking a commercially minded Product Manager for the Industrial Bearings category. You will lead the growth and performance of bearings across New Zealand, shaping the product range, supporting customers and sales teams, and building strong supplier relationships.

You will collaborate with sales, supply chain, marketing and suppliers to deliver customer-focused solutions, manage product lifecycles, pricing and training, and analyse market trends

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical knowledge of industrial bearings, rotating equipment or related products.
• Experience in product management, technical sales, category management or similar commercial role.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate customer needs into practical product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category plans to grow sales, margin and market share.
• Provide technical product, application and troubleshooting support to internal sales teams and customers.
• Manage product ranging, lifecycle activity and opportunities for new or improved product offerings.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with key suppliers and customers.
• Support pricing, promotional, merchandising and sales-development initiatives.
• Deliver product training and technical support to internal teams and customers.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Contribute to sales forecasting, inventory optimisation and S&OP planning.
