Job summary

PAK'nSAVE Tauriko in New Zealand seeks a Produce Manager to lead the Produce Department, drive freshness and quality, and build a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will manage ongoing produce operations, partner with suppliers, and ensure displays meet high standards while maintaining strong margins and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a produce or fresh food department.
• Proven leadership in a supermarket or fresh foods environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Produce Department.
• Manage ordering, stock levels, wastage and inventory.
• Build and develop a high-performing team.
• Ensure displays are full, fresh and presented to a high standard.
• Monitor sales, margins and department performance.
• Work with suppliers to maintain quality and availability.
• Maintain food safety, health and safety and compliance standards.

This is akey role in our store. You'll be responsible for keeping the department runningsmoothly, leading a great team, maintaining high standards, and making sure ourcustomers find fresh, quality produce every time they shop with us.
