Job summary

New World The Sands is seeking a Produce Assistant to join the team, working approximately 20 hours per week, including a weekend day. You will support the Produce Manager to keep the department well-stocked, fresh and appealing during trading hours while delivering great customer service to our community.

Join a busy, locally loved store and help provide an excellent shopping experience with a focus on fresh produce quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• Has a passion for fresh produce and a good eye for quality and presentation.
• Previous experience in produce or supermarkets is advantageous.
• Has proven customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Produce Manager, helping to ensure department targets and operational delivery standards are met or exceeded.
• Ensure the department is full, fresh and appealing throughout the hours of trade and that stock levels are controlled appropriately.
• Deliver an excellent level of customer service to ensure the best shopping experience for our customers.
