Job summary

Christchurch Engine Centre, a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney and Air New Zealand, is seeking a procurement assistant to support end-to-end purchasing processes in a state-of-the-art Christchurch facility. You will assist with creation of POs, manage overdue POs, and review standard work for non-product procurement while ensuring documentation accuracy.

Exposure to supplier negotiations, cross functional collaboration, and development opportunities are part of the role with learning

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Basic understanding of supply chain principles.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creation of POs
• Assist with management of overdue PO’s
• Review standard work for non-product procurement and document changes
• Sourcing projects for commodities
• Reviews of Procurement templates & other ad hoc items
