Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in New Zealand seeks a ProcessOperator for the Weekend Night Shift at Bluebird Foods in Wiri. You will operate heavily automated production lines, manage robotic packaging, and input data into computerised systems while upholding safety and quality standards.

Training is provided over ~6 months during weekdays before transitioning to weekend shifts; full-time, permanent role with opportunities for career development in a global FMCG company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Processing/ Food Manufacturing/ Industrial Kitchen/ Cooking Environment.
• An understanding of HACCP and GMP with a record of reliability and safe work practices.
• A high mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability.
• Work as part of an efficient Food Production Team.
• Actively contribute to Food Safety targets within the team.

Responsibilities

• Operating industrial cooking equipment and production machinery.
• Operating the heavily robotic machinery that packages our chips into packets, and also into boxes.
• Record, report and input accurate data into computerised systems.
• Ensure flavour testing is completed effectively, and accurate flavour is supplied in accordance with product runs.
• Complete quality checks as required, with management of materials and waste.

We're looking for a reliable, safety-focused ProcessOperator to join our high-performing team in Wiri on Weekend Night Shift. These roles operate our heavily automated machinery.

Please note mandatory training is required for the position and is completed during the week for approx 6 months prior to moving to the Weekend Shift. Training is available across our Day/Afternoon or Night Shifts. All applications must have full-time legal work rights in NZ.

• Location: Wiri
• Roster Shifts - Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Hours: Friday - 11 pm to 3am, Saturday and Sunday - 7 pm to 7am
• Position: Permanent Full Time
• Selection Process: Interview - Assessment - Background/Pre-Employment Medical Checks - Decision
