Job summary

Sika New Zealand is seeking an energetic Process Operator to join our Avondale production team on a six-month fixed-term basis. The role is daytime shift, Monday to Friday, with either 8:00 am–4:30 pm or 10:00 am–6:30 pm hours.

The role focuses on operating production processes, following manufacturing instructions, and assisting with material handling. A stable organization with 60+ years in NZ, offering a competitive hourly rate and overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting or production line environment.
• Shows initiative and ability to work independently.
• Reliable team player with good communication skills.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Familiar with basic computer systems and data entry.

This is a six-month fixed-term position to provide temporary cover while an existing employee is absent from work. This is primarily daytime shift work. You will work Monday to Friday, with hours being either 8.00 am to 4.30 pm or 10.00 am to 6.30 pm.
