Job summary

DEC International is seeking a capable Process Engineer to translate product development into robust, scalable manufacturing processes in Hamilton, New Zealand. You will work across early development, process engineering and manufacturing to deliver quality products safely and efficiently.

You will design trials, analyse data and produce clear process documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement and support new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Exposure to process engineering, manufacturing or product development is desirable.
• Understanding of process development, scale-up and technology transfer.
• Experience designing trials, analyzing data and interpreting results.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and scale manufacturing processes from development through to production.
• Design and execute process trials, experiments and investigations.
• Develop process documentation, specs, work instructions and reports.
• Support equipment selection, commissioning, qualification and validation activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve process capability, efficiency and product quality.
• Troubleshoot challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with scientists, product development, technical, quality and manufacturing teams.
• Support continuous improvement and introduction of new products.
