About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive Process Engineer to join their manufacturing facility in Queenstown, Eastern Cape . This role focuses on maintaining and improving the efficiency and reliability of their production processes. You will be involved in day-to-day operations, identifying and resolving process bottlenecks, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with the operations and maintenance teams, you will ensure that production targets are met while adhering to strict quality and safety standards, contributing to the company's operational excellence in a key regional facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and output.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including operating procedures and P&IDs.
• Participate in projects aimed at process optimization, debottlenecking, and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
