Placements24 is seeking a Process Chemical Engineer to lead New Product Scale-Up at their facility in Queenstown. You will translate laboratory discoveries into robust manufacturing processes, working with R&D and production teams to design, pilot, and implement scalable, safe processes.

The role covers scale-up from lab to pilot to full production, designing pilot plant trials, developing process documentation, and conducting risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in process development and scale-up, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with pilot plant operations and experimental design.
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separation technologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

• Oversee the scale-up of new chemical products from laboratory to pilot and commercial production.
