Job summary

Stuff’s Christchurch print plant is seeking a Day Shift Printer to help deliver top-quality newspapers and magazines to readers across Canterbury. You’ll operate and maintain cutting-edge printing equipment, ensuring flawless output and timely production.

You’ll monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with the production team to hit tight deadlines, while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating printing machinery, preferably newspapers or magazines.
• Familiarity with different printing techniques and troubleshooting common issues.
• Knowledge of printing software and computer-assisted printing systems is advantageous.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure colour reproduction and print quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Strong work ethic to meet strict deadlines.
