SLR Consulting is seeking a Principal ecologist to lead and develop major ecology opportunities within our Ecology & Marine team across Aotearoa. You will build strong client relationships, prepare offers of service, and deliver high-quality reports and fieldwork plans.
The role involves coaching and mentoring ecologists, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and driving project success. NZ citizenship or rights to work in NZ is required; we offer flexible working arrangements.

This is a Principal level role with key focuses being on developing, facilitating and enhancing effective relationships with our clients and leading and preparing offers of service for large ecology opportunities. The role also involves developing and coaching other ecologists in the team and requires technical excellence to ensure our team delivers high quality work to our clients. We are looking for the right person for this role, so we are open to this role being based in any of our offices throughout Aotearoa.
