You’ll join Canva as Principal Software Engineer - Mobile Platform, shaping Canva’s hybrid mobile stack across React Native, iOS and Android. You’ll lead migrations, set architectural direction, and work with staff and senior engineers to deliver a scalable, production-ready platform.

Expect to drive performance, reliability, and adoption across hundreds of engineers and product teams, helping Canva ship across mobile surfaces for years to come.

Qualifications

• Led large-scale cross-platform mobile architecture in production.
• Experience migrating mature mobile products to new architectures without downtimes.
• Strong leadership across multiple teams and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural direction for Canva's hybrid mobile platform across RN, iOS, Android.
• Deliver production-ready platform foundations for performance and observability.
• Lead engineers through migration and establish trust in the new platform.
• Drive adoption across product teams and define reusable patterns.
