Kristin School on Auckland’s North Shore is seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join the Junior School (Year 0–6) on a fixed-term, part-time basis (0.5 FTE) from January 2027. The role involves delivering dynamic PE programs and supporting the school's wellbeing through activity and sport.

You will be NZ Registered, skilled at building strong relationships with students and parents, and ready to contribute to our co-curricular programme.

Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to: 0.5, Start Date: 20/01/2027, End Date: 08/12/2028 (Secondment cover)

Kristin School is a co‑educational, non‑denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. It provides education for more than 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the InternationalBaccalaureate programme.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Physical Education Teacher to join our incredibly supportive Junior School (Year 0-6) team on a fixed‑term, part‑time basis (0.5 FTE) for two years, commencing January 2027. Kristin operates a 7‑day timetable, so you need to be able to work part‑time hours across Monday to Friday.

This role requires:

• NZ Registered Teacher who is available from January 2027

IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) prior experience is not required, with successful candidates provided with professional development, including attending training outside of school hours.
