Primary and intermediate (Years 1-8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland's North Shore. It provides education for more than 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International Baccalaureate programme.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Homeroom teacher to join our supportive Junior School (Year 0-6) team on a fixed-term, full-time basis in 2027. As a homeroom teacher, you will be responsible for the homeroom programme, which integrates mathematics, English, science, social studies, and personal and social development, through an inquiry approach, supported by the latest research about the Science of Learning and Structured Literacy. Specialist teachers support Mandarin, te reo Māori, PE, music, visual and performing arts, which also provides non-contact time for our teachers. This role is fixed-term for 2027 to cover a period of parental leave.
