Job summary

IAG Insurance is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our NZ team. Based in Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch, you will combine data, curiosity and problem solving to deliver insights that influence portfolio performance and growth.

You’ll work with experienced pricing professionals on pricing initiatives across our NZ brands. Key duties include delivering pricing analysis, monitoring performance after pricing changes, and collaborating with stakeholders to support informed decision making.

Qualifications

• A quantitative degree in mathematics, statistics, science or a related analytical discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pricing analysis and operational pricing activities that support portfolio performance and strategic business objectives.
• Complete rate reviews and ad hoc pricing requests, ensuring work is delivered accurately and within agreed timeframes.
• Monitor portfolio performance following pricing changes, identifying trends and insights to inform future decisions.
• Generate and interpret analytics that help improve business performance and support profitable portfolio growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand priorities and support effective decision making.
• Contribute to risk management, compliance activities and adherence to pricing principles and governance requirements.
