Job summary

All About Children - Marton is seeking an experienced Team Leader for the Preschool Room in Manawatū/Whanganui. This full-time, permanent role invites you to lead the Preschool teaching team, nurture tamariki and whanau relationships, and integrate kaupapa Maori and Pasifika practices into daily teaching.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years as Head Teacher or Team Leader in an over-two environment, hold a Level 7 ECE qualification, and be registered to teach in NZ.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a preschool teaching team.
• NZ Teacher Registration is required.
• Ability to uplift and mentor other teachers.

Responsibilities

• lead and inspire the Preschool teaching team
• build meaningful, respectful relationships with tamariki and whanau
• integrate kaupapa Maori and Pasifika practices into the programme
• work alongside the team in daily teaching, operations and leadership
• support positive learning outcomes through thoughtful and intentional teaching
• manage priorities effectively and communicate with confidence
• uplift and guide other teachers through your own practice and leadership
• contribute to systems and processes as the centre continues to grow.
