Job summary

Hauraki PHO is seeking an experienced Practice Support Team Lead to provide hands-on leadership across our integrated Practice Support wahanga. You will strengthen team performance, provider relationships, compliance, quality improvement and funder reporting while helping teams collaborate across functions.

Ideally, you will bring five years’ experience in healthcare operations or clinical support, plus a tertiary qualification in a related field.

Qualifications

Ideally five years’ experience in healthcare operations, clinical support or similar leadership role.
A tertiary qualification in healthcare, nursing, health administration or a related field.
Significant experience coordinating or leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Maori, equity and culturally appropriate service delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead and support multidisciplinary teams through clear expectations, coaching and accountability.
Collaborate with practice teams to strengthen service quality, patient pathways and accreditation readiness.
Oversee coordination and review of accurate, timely statistical and contract reporting.
