Job summary

Northwood Medical Centre – Redwood, South Island is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our small, friendly team of GPs, Nurses, and Receptionists. The role is roughly 24 hours per week with flexibility to cover Leave.

You will be comfortable with medical software, telephone triage, be an authorised vaccinator, and hold Life Support Level 4 or 5, plus IV administration, supporting diverse primary health workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience in general practice essential.
• Willingness to cover Sick/Annual Leave on occasion.
• Police vetting required under Vulnerable Children's Act 2014.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a general practice setting.
• Administer vaccines and IV medications as required.
• Perform telephone triage and triage-related tasks.
• Support diverse workload of primary health services.
