Job summary

Powerco is seeking an experienced Customer Delivery Services Project Manager on a 12-month contract in Tauranga, NZ. You will lead customer-initiated electricity projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

In this customer-facing role you’ll manage multiple projects, coordinate with customers, contractors and internal teams, and ensure delivery on time, on budget and safely while maintaining strong compliance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience in electricity distribution or infrastructure/construction is preferred.
• Strong planning, financial control, stakeholder engagement, risk, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination with customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers, contractors, and internal teams to align expectations.
• Manage electricity projects from customer application to delivery, on time, on budget, and safely.
• Oversee scopes, risks, costs, schedules, and quality outcomes across customer-initiated work.
• Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects, balancing customer needs and changing priorities.
• Help shape new ways of working as Powerco transforms how we deliver for customers.
• Ensure compliance, reporting, and documentation at every step.
