Job summary

Terra Industrial New Zealand Limited is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Terra Cat Power Systems projects, delivering complex power infrastructure from planning through to handover. You'll coordinate equipment, suppliers, contractors and internal teams, manage procurement, installation, commissioning and reporting, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidate has five years' experience in power/generator sectors, a relevant degree, strong commercial sense,

Qualifications

  • Five years' experience delivering projects for customers.
  • Generator, electrical or power-generation industry experience.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness.
  • Excellent planning, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A current full driver licence.

Responsibilities

  • Developing project plans, key milestones and delivery methods with customers.
  • Coordinating equipment, suppliers, contractors and internal resources.
  • Managing procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.
  • Monitoring schedules, budgets, quality, variations and project risks.
  • Preparing forecasts and progress and financial reporting.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and systems.
  • Managing project profitability and identifying opportunities to improve margins.
  • Building trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of power generation, engineering and major infrastructure. You'll oversee projects from planning and procurement through to installation, commissioning and final handover, taking genuine ownership of delivery, commercial performance and the customer experience.

About the role

As Project Manager, you'll coordinate the successful delivery of Terra Cat Power Systems projects, ensuring each project is completed safely, on time, within budget and to specification.

Your responsibilities will include:
