Job summary

Beca is recruiting a Manager - Power, Southern, based in Christchurch. You will lead a team of about 35 engineers, designers and specialists, providing technical and people leadership across power projects in New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region.

You will bring a strong background in the power sector, with experience in engineering consultancy, utility, transmission or distribution, and a collaborative leadership style that supports client relationships and project delivery.

• Experience delivering complex engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to build credibility with clients, technical specialists and project teams.
• Commercial awareness and ability to balance project, people and business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Southern power team of approximately 35 engineers, designers and specialists in Christchurch.
• Develop people, support project delivery and strengthen client relationships.
• Drive sustainable growth across the Power business in New Zealand and wider APAC region.
• Influence technical direction and culture of a high-performing team.
