Vitaco Health in Auckland's Howick area is seeking a Powder Plant Machine Operator for day shift. You will operate and monitor powder processing and packing equipment, perform quality checks, and record production data in a GMP-regulated environment.

You'll join a safety‑driven team with ongoing training, opportunities to progress to senior operator or team leadership, and benefits such as product discounts and on‑site facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a powder, dairy, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Strong awareness of GMP, hygiene, and safety requirements.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow set processes.
• Are physically fit and able to lift 25kg on a reasonably frequent basis.
• Reliability and flexibility to work rostered shifts.

Dairy Powder Plant - Machine Operator - Day Shift

About the role

As a Machine Operator in our Powder Plant, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring processing and packaging equipment to ensure powder products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to strict quality standards.

You’ll work within a highly structured, hygiene-focused environment and be part of a supportive team committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring powder processing or packing machinery
• Completing quality checks and accurately recording production data
• Handling raw materials and finished powders in line with GMP and hygiene standards
• Always following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety requirements
• Maintaining housekeeping standards to prevent contamination risks
• Working collaboratively with your team to meet daily production targets

About you

We're looking for people with the right attitude and reliability - experience is valued, but not essential.

Ideally, you'll bring:
