Job summary

B&D Group in Christchurch is seeking a Production Team Member to join the manufacturing team with a focus on powder coating and quality inspection. You will support powder coating operations and assist in general production to meet daily targets.

The role suits someone who takes pride in quality, enjoys hands-on work, and is flexible to work across production areas. Morning shift: Monday to Friday, 6am–2:30pm, with optional overtime on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Powder coating experience required.
• Experience inspecting coated products and identifying defects.
• Hands-on, practical approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out powder coating processes, including preparation, application, curing, and inspection
• Inspect finished products and identify coating defects
• Troubleshoot powder coating quality issues and identify root causes
• Support general production and assembly lines when required
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
