Job summary

Central Otago District Council’s Roxburgh Pool is hiring enthusiastic pool crew for the upcoming summer season. This full-time role supports lifeguarding, pool safety, and a welcoming environment for the local community.

You’ll work a Monday to Sunday roster with training provided; no prior lifeguard experience is required, but you must be able to swim 200m in under 6 minutes. A supportive team and growth opportunities are on offer.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Lifeguarding and pool supervision to ensure patron safety at all times

• Supporting opening and closing procedures
• Responding to incidents in line with safety protocols

Roxburgh Pool is gearing up for another great summer season and we're looking for enthusiastic pool crew to join the team. This role plays a key part in keeping our pool safe, welcoming, and running smoothly for the local community. You'll be joining a supportive crew that takes pride in creating a positive experience for everyone who visits. This is a full-time role, working across a Monday to Sunday roster, giving you good hours throughout the season.
