Job summary

Department of Internal Affairs NZ is seeking expressions of interest for Advisory & Policy roles in a Ministerial office during the 55th Executive Government term. Qualifications

• Experience advising Ministers on policy and legislation.
• Ability to interpret complex information for decision-making.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of New Zealand's parliamentary and governance processes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks and mitigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and political advice to Ministers on portfolios.
• Develop relationships with Ministers, Caucus, coalition and support parties.
• Support progress of policy and legislation within portfolios.
• Work solo or as part of a team in a Minister's office.
