Awanui Labs, part of a nationwide pathology network, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician for our Point of Care team in Wellington. The role is fixed term and full-time, primarily based at the Wellington Laboratory with regular travel to regional sites.

You will ensure POCT testing complies with national standards, work in a fast-paced environment, and participate in ongoing in-house training to support the team’s high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Team-focused with initiative and strong communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Ability to work independently within a supported role.
• Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ and current APC as MLS or Technician.
• Flexible working hours to meet team needs.
• Knowledge of lab operations and POCT experience preferred.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsabilités
