Job summary

Awanui Labs is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for our Core Laboratory in Masterton. This fixed-term, full-time role is based at the Masterton Laboratory with an 80-hour fortnight and a 24/7 rotating roster.

The ideal candidate will be highly accurate, organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a supportive team, with registration and APC current in New Zealand. Join a friendly, professional lab environment focused on quality and patient results.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (MSCNZ) and an active Annual Practising Certificate.
• Demonstrated flexibility with working hours and shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations, safety, and equipment operation.
