Job summary

Jora New Zealand is hiring a forklift operator/linehaul freight loader to join the team in Auckland. You will load and unload trucks using a forklift, sort freight, and perform yard duties. Long forks attachments experience is required; experience operating up to 5–10 tonne forklifts is a strong bonus.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 2pm to midnight, with starting pay of $25–$27 per hour plus 8% holiday pay. Temp with potential for permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and loading freight.
• Long forks attachments experience required.
• Health and safety conscious in a busy yard.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Sort freight and perform yard duties.
• Assist with linehaul freight handling as required.
• Experience with 10+ tonne forklifts is a bonus.

A great opportunity to join a join a fantastic company as a forklift operator/linehaul freight loader. You will be loading and unloading trucks using the forklift, freight sorting, and completing various duties in the yard. Must have experience using the long forks attachments.
Experience loading mixed linehaul freight and operating big machines (10+ tonne) is a massive bonus.

Monday to Friday 2pm to midnight

Starting rate is $25-27/per hour + 8% holiday pay.
This is a temporary position to be hired permanently after 3 months with pay reviews for top performers.
