Job summary

Labourworks seeks an experienced Electric Forklift Operator for an evening shift at a modern Hamilton manufacturing site. You will operate an electric forklift, load and unload trucks, stack and organise products, and help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse.

This is a stable role with ongoing training and potential permanent employment. The position runs 3:15 pm to 1:45 am, Monday to Friday, with on-site parking and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to load/unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Reliable, punctual, physically fit and safety-conscious.
• Strong team player with good communication and a positive attitude.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions in a busy production environment.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Electric Forklift Operator to join their evening shift team.

Your key responsibilities

• Operating an electric forklift safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Stacking and organising products safely.
• Ensuring loads are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Checking products and loads before they leave the site.
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and organised.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

We’re looking for someone who is

• Experienced and confident operating a forklift, ideally in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
• Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Reliable, punctual, physically fit, and safety-conscious.
• A strong team player with good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
