Job summary

NZ Pipe, a family-owned plumbing supplies retailer, seeks a full-time Retail & Warehouse Assistant for Ōtāhuhu and Takanini, Auckland. You’ll work on the shop floor and in the warehouse, assist customers, handle payments, manage stock, and support local deliveries with a valid driver’s license.

Training provided for product knowledge. Ideal candidates are honest, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment, with a team-first attitude and willingness to help improve store flow

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to handle physical work including lifting and moving stock.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers and processing sales at the till.
• Handling money and processing payments accurately.
• Offering product advice and learning more about plumbing products.
• Keeping shelves stocked and store tidy.
• Monitoring stock levels and flagging reorders.
• Picking and packing orders for courier and customers.
• Managing incoming and outgoing stock.
• Keeping the warehouse organised for easy work flow.
• Local deliveries with a full driver’s licence.
