Job summary

Hirestaff is assisting Auckland-based contractors in placing experienced plumbers and drainlayers for residential, commercial, and civil projects across the region. Roles span new builds, maintenance, service work and major drainage infrastructure.

We are seeking reliable tradespeople with strong safety awareness, ability to work independently or in a team, and a valid driver’s licence. Short-term, long-term and permanent positions available with ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing and/or drainlaying.
• Registration or licensing preferred but not essential for all roles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of site safety and industry best practices.
• Reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing and/or drainlaying work across residential, commercial, and civil projects.
• New installations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
• Reading plans and working to specifications.
• Collaborating with site teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
