You’ll blend senior individual-contributor work with guiding the team’s roadmap and technical direction, mentoring engineers and shaping architecture over long lifetimes.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with .NET in production systems.
- Experience with Python and Angular.
- Comfortable working in Linux/Ubuntu environments.
- Proven ability to debug and resolve complex technical problems.
- Experience influencing technical direction beyond features.
- Experience leading backlog planning or delivery coordination.
- Collaborative mindset with cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Act as technical lead for a small team of two engineers.
- Design and implement robust systems for a mission-critical platform.
- Own and manage the team backlog with stakeholders.
- Guide delivery planning, scope trade-offs, and execution.
- Influence architecture and implementation decisions with sound judgement.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and pairing.
- Improve platform reliability and release confidence.
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex production issues.
- Collaborate with US-based engineers to align priorities and roadmap.
- Balance hands-on work with light leadership and coordination responsibilities.
