Job summary

Kāinga Ora is seeking an experienced Platform Lead to own the performance, delivery, and continuous improvement of Core Housing and Digital Platforms. You will lead a team of Platform DevOps Engineers, balancing delivery priorities with operational stability and long-term platform sustainability.

You will guide platform roadmaps, drive continuous improvement, and ensure secure, reliable platform services that align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Own the end-to-end platform lifecycle including delivery, operations and continuous improvement.
• Proven leadership of Senior DevOps Engineers and platform teams.
• Experience enabling secure, reliable and scalable digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform Engineering and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure platform services.
• Drive ITSM, governance, compliance and service performance improvements.
• Engage in technical discussions, make informed decisions, and contribute hands-on when needed.
