Job summary
Kainga Ora is seeking an experienced Platform Lead to own the performance, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Core Housing and Digital Platforms in New Zealand. You will lead a team of Platform DevOps Engineers, driving operational excellence, reliability, and security while balancing delivery priorities with long-term platform sustainability.
You will be the primary accountability for platform outcomes, fostering collaboration across the technology landscape and translating business
Qualifications
- Proven platform leadership with delivery and operation experience.
- Hands-on ability to lead Platform, Infrastructure or DevOps teams.
- Strong focus on security, reliability and scalable services.
- Ability to translate business needs into platform roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end platform lifecycle, including delivery, operations, and improvements.
- Lead a team of Senior DevOps Engineers to ensure quality and velocity.
- Ensure platform services are secure, reliable, scalable and aligned with objectives.
- Balance delivery priorities with operational stability and longevity.
- Act as the primary accountability point for platform outcomes.
