Job summary
Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities in Auckland seeks an experienced Platform Lead to own the performance, delivery, and continuous improvement of our Core Housing and Digital Platforms. You will lead a team of Platform DevOps Engineers and Senior DevOps Engineers to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable services aligned with business objectives.
This leadership role requires strong technical credibility, hands-on capability when needed, and a proven ability to translate strategy into platform
Qualifications
- Strong technical credibility and ability to engage in technical discussions.
- Hands-on when needed and comfortable contributing technically.
- Proven track record leading Platform Engineering and DevOps teams.
- Experience delivering secure, reliable, scalable platform services aligned to business goals.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end platform lifecycle, including delivery, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Lead a team of Platform DevOps Engineers and Senior DevOps Engineers.
- Ensure platform services are secure, reliable, scalable and aligned with objectives.
- Translate business strategy into platform roadmaps and delivery plans.
- Drive ITSM, governance, compliance, service performance and continuous improvement practices.
