We're looking for a practical, hands‑on person to join our Industrial team located in Highbrook, East Tamaki. If you are a skilled machinery operator, enjoy the challenge of precision work and problem solving and learning new skills, this could be the role for you.
The primary purpose of this position is to safely operate our aluminium plate saw and associated cutting equipment, delivering accurate, high‑quality customer orders that meet specification and are completed right first time.
You’re a hands‑on, reliable team player who takes pride in producing quality work and getting the job done right the first time. Safety is a core part of how you work, and you actively follow safe work practices, complete pre-start checks, identify hazards, and look out for the wellbeing of those around you.
You have strong attention to detail, communicate effectively, and can manage your time in a busy production environment. This role involves regular manual handling, so you’ll be physically fit and comfortable working on your feet.
You’ll enjoy problem‑solving, working with measurements and numbers, and have an interest in machinery, manufacturing, engineering, or mechanical processes. Previous experience operating machinery, forklifts, or working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
