Job summary

Vulcan Hamilton is seeking an Extrusion Operator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will operate aluminium extrusion machinery, monitor product quality, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

Shift is Monday-Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm. Key duties include operating and monitoring equipment, performing quality checks, loading materials and maintaining production runs, plus routine cleaning and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing, production, extrusion or similar machinery.
• Ability to read and follow production specifications and work instructions.
• Experience with machine set-up, adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Forklift licence and experience advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Reliable with good attendance and a strong work ethic.
• A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
