Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking a skilled Pipefitter in Auckland, NZ, to install and commission commercial stainless piping systems on large-scale projects. You will read ISO drawings and apply accredited joining methods, with a focus on safety and quality.

To be considered, you must have NZ working rights and be prepared to complete a welding test. Competitive hourly rates, overtime opportunities, and progression toward leadership roles are on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial/Industrial Pipefitter.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Valid Site Safe Passport (or willingness to obtain one immediately)
• Current NZ Working Rights
• Reliable transportation and your own basic hand tools
• Strong commitment to NZ Health & Safety practices

Responsibilities

• Installing and fitting commercial stainless piping systems with varied work.
• Working from technical blueprints and ISO drawings to ensure precise installation.
• Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required specifications.
• Utilizing joining methods including welding, brazing, threading, and Victaulic grooving.
• Pressure testing systems to ensure safety and compliance with NZ standards.
• Collaborating with site managers to meet strict project deadlines

About the role

Stellar Recruitment is collaborating with one of New Zealand's premier mechanical and HVAC solutions providers. They specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of complex piping systems for large-scale commercial and industrial clients across Auckland. We are looking for a skilled Pipefitter who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and system integrity.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST BE IN NEW ZEALAND AND HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO CONDUCT A WELDING TEST.
