Job summary

Edgewater College in Auckland seeks an inspiring educator to provide leadership within our successful Science department, with a focus on Physics and Chemistry. The role is full-time and permanent, commencing Term 1, 2027.

You will be NZ registered, with at least 2 years science teaching experience, and prepared to engage with culturally sustaining practices. The position offers middle leadership opportunities and negotiable remuneration.

Edgewater College is a co-educational, state secondary school in Pakuranga, Auckland, offering a future focused, strength-based curriculum from Year 9 to 13. We serve a diverse urban community with students from a wide range of cultural, social and economic backgrounds.

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring teacher to provide leadership within our very successful Science department. The ideal candidate will have relevant NZ teaching experience and be looking for middle leadership opportunities in Science, Physics and/or Chemistry. The exact nature of the role and remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
