Job summary

Community Care Trust Aotearoa seeks experienced support workers for the Nelson & Tasman regions. We offer permanent roles for up to 10 positions with a rotating roster that may include nights and weekends, and guaranteed 32 hours per week.

You will support people in their homes, help them meet goals, build new skills and connect with their community. A NZ Level 4 Health & Wellbeing certificate (or NZQA-equivalent) or 3 years’ experience is required, and you must be eligible to work in New

Qualifications

• Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain one at cost.
• Hold a FULL current NZ Driver Licence or have ability to obtain one.
• Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Support people in their homes and encourage social engagement.
• Assist in achieving new goals, building skills, and improving community links.
• Work with diverse client groups including intellectual disability, autism, youth and dual diagnoses.
