Job summary

Southern Cross Hamilton Hospital is a private surgical facility in central Hamilton with eight theatres and comprehensive perioperative services. We seek an experienced Associate Theatre Manager to lead day-to-day operations, develop future leaders, and drive quality, safety, and patient-focused service delivery.

Qualifications

NZ Registered Nurse with APC required.
3–5 years’ leadership experience in a perioperative setting.
Strong operational, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day perioperative operations and theatre services.
Support development of future leaders and drive quality and safety initiatives.
Foster a high-performing theatre culture and strong staff engagement.
Collaborate with leadership to deliver exceptional patient care and experience.
