Job summary

Fred Recruitment Pte Ltd – Hamilton, North Island seeks an hands-on HR Coordinator to support People & Culture, Health & Safety, and compliance tasks across the business. You will juggle recruitment, onboarding, training coordination and ISO documentation in a busy operations environment.

Working closely with the HR Manager, you’ll promote a proactive safety culture, manage records, audits and compliance registers, and act as a friendly contact for staff and leaders alike.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR, Health & Safety, Compliance, Quality or administrative support position - min 2-3 years.
• Experience in operational environments such as manufacturing, engineering, logistics or construction.
• Strong organisational and administration skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• Competent Microsoft Office and data entry/system use.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with frontline teams.
• Friendly and down to earth personality with a great sense of humour.

Responsibilities

• You’ll work across the full gamut of HR and people coordination with responsibility spanning People & Culture, Health & Safety, compliance and day to day business operations.
• Support recruitment, interviews and employee onboarding
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Coordinate training and compliance records
• Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees
• Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage early reporting
• Support hazard, incident and near-miss reporting and documentation
• Assist with toolbox talks and frontline safety engagement
• Support ISO 9001 & 45001 systems and documentation
• Assist with audits, compliance registers and corrective actions
• Maintain positive working relationships with employees, leaders and contractors
• Act as a visible, approachable contact point for people, safety and compliance matters
• Support a culture of openness, early reporting and practical problem solving.
