South Taranaki District Council is looking for an experienced People & Capability Advisor to join our team in a full-time capacity. You’ll help create a workplace where people can thrive, supporting recruitment campaigns, coaching leaders, and contributing to organisational change.

This hands-on generalist role offers variety and the opportunity to shape people practices and embrace new technology and AI to improve how we work, delivering a great employee experience across the council.

Formación

• Sound knowledge of New Zealand employment law and employment relations.
• Confident providing practical, pragmatic advice to leaders.
• Experience across recruitment, remuneration, change and workforce planning.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Sound judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Genuine interest in helping people and organisations succeed.
• Curiosity about emerging technology, including AI, and how it can improve people practices.
• A Diploma in a HR related field or be working towards a relevant qualification.
