Silver Fern Farms is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage salary pay runs and related payroll processes. You will support site payroll coordinators and HRIS users from our Dunedin hub, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

The role sits within Central Payroll and contributes to ongoing payroll system improvements. You will bring proven payroll processing experience, knowledge of payroll legislation including Holidays Act, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in payroll processing and system administration.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation including the Holidays Act.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; confidence using HRIS.
• Solid understanding of accounting, reporting and reconciliations.

Aufgaben

• Process accurate and timely salary pay runs and ad-hoc remuneration changes.
• Provide day-to-day support to site-based Payroll coordinators and other system users.
• Support system administration, upgrades, and user access across PayGlobal and other tools.
• Deliver audit, reporting, and accounting tasks including reconciliations and compliance returns.
• Provide project support for payroll and HRIS development and improvement initiatives.
• Act as first point of contact for payroll queries and deliver outstanding customer service.
