We’re looking for an experienced business banking professional who enjoys getting alongside local businesses, understanding what makes them tick, and helping them move forward with confidence. As a Business Partner, you’ll build trusted relationships with new and existing customers, support their business lending needs, and provide tailored banking solutions that help them grow, invest, and navigate opportunities.
Meeting with new and existing business customers, both in the office and out in the local business community. Building strong, trusted relationships by taking the time to understand each customer’s business, goals, and challenges. Identifying new business opportunities through proactive networking, referrals, and local market activity. Supporting customers with funding requirements, including business lending conversations that help enable growth. Working closely with colleagues and specialists to deliver the right solutions for customers. Representing BNZ in the local market through business development activity, events, and community connections.
This role will suit someone who is commercially minded, relationship-led, and confident having meaningful conversations with business owners. You’ll enjoy getting out into the market, building credibility with customers, and identifying opportunities to support business growth.
