Job summary

Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) Pty in Blenheim is seeking a part-time Technical Customer Support Specialist for our Computers team. You’ll provide hands-on software and hardware support in-store and at customers’ homes, helping grow Tech2Home services in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll troubleshoot across desktops, laptops, tablets and phones, liaise with suppliers, support sales, and work a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of computers and related products.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence.
• Retail experience desirable.
• IT certifications or qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
• Install and support hardware & software solutions in TechBay and customer homes.
• Drive sales of Tech2Home services with the sales and tech teams.
• Process returns and faulty products for repair, replacement or credit.
• Liaise with suppliers and repair agents to resolve issues promptly.
• Support cashiering and general sales duties as required.
• Work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
