Job summary

Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) Pty in Wellington is seeking a Part-Time Technical Customer Support Specialist to combine IT expertise with customer service, delivering software and hardware support in-store and at customers' homes.

You will troubleshoot devices, install solutions, promote Tech2Home services, handle returns, liaise with suppliers, and support cashiering and sales. Weekend and public holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of computers and related products.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence.
• Retail experience (desirable).
• IT certifications or qualifications (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones etc.
• Install and support hardware & software solutions in TechBay and customer homes.
• Drive sales of Tech2Home services with the sales and tech teams.
• Process returns and faulty products for repair, replacement or credit.
• Liaise with suppliers and repair agents to resolve issues promptly.
• Support cashiering and general sales duties as required.
• Work across a 7‑day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
