Job summary

Responsive Health Management Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Nurse Manager for a part-time N shift at our Hamilton facility. The RN will coordinate resident-focused care, supervise staff, and ensure care plans reflect residents’ needs while aligning with the Home's philosophy.

The role requires Ontario RN registration, CPR, and strong teamwork and communication. Wage rate is posted; on-site work with opportunities for professional growth and quality-of-care leadership.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as Registered Nurse or equivalent in another Canadian jurisdiction.
• Basic CPR
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary team members.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of RAI-MDS – AIS certified, or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Clear vulnerable sector screen and TB test within 6 months; three supervisory references.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify care plans based on residents' needs and health status changes.
• Liaise with other healthcare personnel, agencies and families.
• Maintain positive relationships with team, residents, families and public.
• Lead and supervise unit activities; direct, assign and evaluate PSW and RPN work.
• Ensure care aligns with resident rights and quality indicators.
• Document nursing observations and reports accurately; follow policies.
